AU showroom – Italy

The AU showroom aims to redefine office standards for the next five years, envisioning a space that reflects and adapts to recent cultural shifts. With the blurring of boundaries between home and work, remote work has become commonplace. In response, the design ethos embraces this evolution, treating the office as an extension of the home environment, not just a place of work but also a sanctuary for well-being.

The outcome is a comfortable environment where functional work elements seamlessly blend with residential furniture, biophilic features, and ample comfort.

Custom-designed elements, like suspended shelves or multifunctional tables, contribute to the distinctive aesthetic, while an open layout is thoughtfully segmented into islands, delineated by strategically placed carpets.

These carpets play a crucial role in defining spatial boundaries while fostering a sense of cohesion and flow within the office environment.

WELL BEING

By incorporating elements of home design, such as comfortable furniture and familiar decor, the office can become a place of comfort and relaxation. This transformation can have profound psychological benefits for employees, fostering a sense of belonging and emotional well-being.

BLURRING BOUNDARIES

The AU showroom's redefinition of office standards goes beyond mere aesthetics; it reflects a deep understanding of the psychological needs of modern workers. By blurring the boundaries between home and work and prioritizing comfort and well-being, the office becomes not only a place of professional productivity but also a sanctuary for personal growth and fulfillment.
